New Member - old RX7
I am a new member, I just discovered this site, primarily because my RX7 is pretty much stock and I only maintain it (a few minor repairs). So I really didn't think about a specialty site like this, however. it looks great and I wish I thought of it sooner.
I have a 1985 GSL-SE I bought new in 1985. It has about 28,000 miles on it. I never take it out in the snow or rain. In fact the only time it gets wet is when I wash it. It has all the original parts including tires, belts, exhaust and even the inspection stickers are still there. It is metal flake black. I do drive it in the summer and it still provides a thrill with the rotary engine sound and power. Thanks for this site.

Welcome! It's always good to see when original owners find this site. You will be surprised at what you can lean about these cars just be reading the threads on here. Its great source of information and knowledge no matter how long you've owned your car. Post up some pics of her.
Welcome!!! The car sounds as though its stunning!! The color you have sounds like Sparkling Black Metallic. Would definitely love to see pictures of the car and hear about your buying experience when you purchased the car!
drain plug
While it is on my mind, I have a question for you. I would like to flush my cooling system. I have a Haynes manual that mentions a coolant drain plug on the engine block, but it doesn't provide a photo of the location. Can you provide me some details about the drain plug location? Thanks.
