Hi guys/gals! My name's Tim, and I'm in Pa. New to the rotary scene, just purchased an 88 SE model that's been in storage since 2003. Glad to see there's a resource for newbies like me to get to know our new obsessions haha. Always liked the RX7's but never figured I'd own one, but when I came across this one I couldn't pass it up!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase! Tell us a little bit more about your SE and post some pictures, when you have a chance. I'm sure you will find a lot of useful information here.

Pretty psyched to dig into the car. It belonged to a guy who went to West Point and then into the military, and left the car in storage at his grandparents. When they passed, it went to his god-parents, and then to me. Southern car, Louisiana title, never seen a snowflake, I believe. Surprisingly, she fired right up after I jumped power thru the starter relay. Blew a big mouse nest out of the right tailpipe, and smoked for a little while, but smoothed right out and purred. Hydraulics leaked off in the clutch, so I'm replacing both cylinders and the hose. Gonna try to post some pics...
