New member, new FD! (UK)
Hey all!
I've been dreaming about FDs for the last decade and I was finally in the position to buy one. I've been lurking here for years so it's pretty cathartic to finally post.
This is a bone stock JDM silver FD, manufactured in November '92. It had its motor rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. The car's in pretty great condition but could do with a bit of cleaning up which I'll be busying myself with.
My plan for the car is to keep it stock and clean for the next year or two, do some preventative maintenance, and just enjoy it as much as I can, on track and for road trips.
After that? Probably EFR Single turbo conversion and maybe a respray to Innocent Blue Mica and a 99 Spec front/rear conversion.

Welcome to the forum!!! It appears to be a beautiful example overall!! I have always loved Silverstone Metallic on the FD! I agree that you will love it in its stock form and will appreciate the car from a reliability standpoint.
I've only owned an MX5 before this so going up to 250hp from 110 will be more than enough to sate me for a good while! Roads here are also pretty narrow so it's hard to use a lot of power. I think even if I do modify it years down the line I am unlikely to want to go above 300-320.
And definitely agree from the reliability perspective - it's my dream car so I want to be able to drive it as much as possible rather than have it up on stands constantly.
My aim is to never sacrifice driveability with this thing, whatever I do.
