NC New Member/ New 2nd gen owner......

Hello everyone i am new here as well as a new mazda owner. I have a 1987 rx7 non-turbo. I joined the forum to hopefully learn a bit about the car. As soon as i can i am going to post pics before and after. First i have to get the drivability issues sorted out. These cars are a little temperamental.

The cars are OLD....unless it's been the subject of a ground up resto, you're playing with 24 year old stuff that's probably been abused. Once all the work is done right, these can be reliable daily drivers that get 20+ mpg...well, the 1stgen RX-7's, anyway.

Welcome aboard! What's the name and what the heck brought you to our world?

I appreciate the words of encouragement. But I bought my stepson a mazda and it seems i will never get it ready for him. He joined this forum which left me sitting here scouring the board for help. lol...

Well, hopefully you've got a thread started in New Member Tech where the roaming 2ndgen guru's can read about your problem. Being the intro board, they don't often come in here.

Agreed, go post some questions in the 2nd gen tech thread, AFTER you've made sure it hasn't been answered before.

Welcome to the world of rotaries.
