just a note to say hello. I'm Rick and I have recently purchased a 1983 rx7 (just
in time to hide it from the snow). Looking forward to learning about the rotary world as it's all new to me

we saw the car on the side of the road for sale... it looked cute but probably out of our price range but surprisingly wasn't. we checked it out, good shape for its year just needs some interior tlc and needs to have the exhaust quietened. look forward to any comments, questions etc...but go easy as I'm just learning. still trying to figure out picture posting

That is a good lookin' 7.
You can ask any technical question under the new member tech section. Once you get a few more posts, swing by the main 1st gen section. We have a lot of good guys and gals in there and are always willing to help out.
We even put together a 1st calendar and I think your car might be good for it if you were able to get some high res shots with an interesting background. Don't worry if the car isn't perfect. We don't care.

I'm also new but unfortunately ive posted 3 threads on introduction and none showed up even a week later. I'm starting to think the moderators aren't to friendly. But anyways I love your car, I live in Ontario and just got a restored 1984 rx7 gs, with racing beat everything. my cars black so I was thinking how cool it would be to have pics of them side by side lol. If you ever find your way close to Niagara falls let me know.

Kent: Here are the same pics as I don't have any more because the car is put away. I would love to see it in the calender and order a couple of calenders (one for me and one for the guy that I bought the car from and did the majority of work to it). The background in these pics is actually my driveway. Thanks for the compliments.
