New member from Michigan.....

hi everyone my name is corey i'm new to the forum but not to rx-7's. about six years ago i purchased a 88 tII with a blown motor from a co worker of mine. after realizing the motor was far beyond repair i sourced an s5 motor off of ebay ( which is a horrible idea btw ). i put the motor in thinking it should be fine, after having it running for a few minutes i immediatly new something was wrong so i did a compression test and found out the rear rotor was bad. frustrated and out of money i sold the car. as of a couple weeks ago i found out it was back up for sale, so i bought it back on saturday. after sitting for four years out in the weather the rust is showing through ( hopefully fixable ) and still in need of a new motor. i have alot of work ahead of me and not alot of time to do it but i assure you i won't give up this time as slow and teadious as it may be. i will post pictures shortly.
thanx, corey.

mods already on the car:
kyb struts with apex lowering springs
three inch turbo back exhaust
drilled rotors
18" wheels
s5 tail lights
hks f-con
hks turbo timer
greddy bov
autometer boost and a/f ratio gauges
koyo radiator

What a weird, winding road that has been. Glad to see you're going to stick with the RX-7. Thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!

I get frustrated as I uncover new issues with my FD, but this makes my build/restoration not sound half bad. Welcome and read up. I've learned a ton from these forums in a very short time.
