New member hoping to own a rx7

Hi! I am a new member.
My dream since a kid is to own an fd3s. Finally, I am in college now and I am planning to buy a rolling chassis to start my build.
Thank you very much!

Awesome! Good luck. Definitely plan as much as you can in the beginning, it'll avoid some major headaches down the road and redoing things twice.

buy a complete car. the days are gone where buying a shell is a good idea. it will cost you more to complete that shell than it will to buy a complete car

First and foremost welcome to the forum. I hate to admit it, but he's right. I honestly feel bad (then again, not really) for you younger generation folks looking to get into a FD. Your time was probably 2-3 years ago to get into a shell "cheap". Now? I'm pretty sure it wasn't that long ago we watched a shell go for something like $20k+, while $30k can get you into a complete car. And IF you do find a shell, pray it has a complete interior.

It wasn't that long ago I was in your shoes. Be patient, don't jump on just anything, and one day you'll have one of your own. Cheers!
