Hello everybody!
my name is Leander, 24 years old. I am a young Engineer from Germany. Here in Germany the RX7 Scene is little, these cars are very rare here. Commonly seen are only RX8s, I never saw another RX7 on the road.
I hope to bring in my own knowledge about our loved rotary cars via this forum same as getting infos on things I do not yet know about.
Please mind my difficulties with the English language but I try my best!
But now to the topic, I am here to show you my car so you can get an idea of the person behind the user name -White Comet-, pictures tell more then a thousand words.
spec List
1990 Mazda RX7 FC3S Turbo II S5
215 hp @ 6500 rpm
280 Nm @ 3500 rpm - equivalent to 206,5 Lb-Ft of torque
K&N 57i performance kit intake (conic free flow air cleaner)
custom made racing exhaust (cat delete, 4" exhaust tips)
Air Pump removed
16" alloy rims
OEM areodynamic package
rear wiper removed
antenna removed
Lesjöfors Fjädrar Type 1304 coilover suspension front/rear (from Sweden)
body lowered by 40mm front/rear
Momo steering wheel
RX8 Shift ****
Pioneer Stereo
It was very hard to find a Turbo II in such good shape. She is almost free form rust and has got 109.000 km on the clock which is equal to approximately 68k miles. The engine is in very good shape and both the previous owners and me took/take very good care about her.
I do not ever give her away to a garage/workshop to fix her up, I do all by myself which is why such a great forum as this one is really appreciated by me (not every problem can be solved by the service manual - this is why I need you!). I hope to help others with their problems about their RX7s als well.
a few pictures of her (other car in the one pic is my inconspicuous and light S13 drift racer):
Thanks everybody for watching!
