Hi, new member here from Georgia. I don't own an RX7, but have always liked these cars. But what has always scared me off was the rotary engine...not many folks know much about working on them.
Anyway, I've been a long-time owner of MR2s, and just wanted to check other forums...

I am not sure if I have a right to say this but... I personally feel owning a rotary car is good even though the lack of knowledge and "reliability" can be scary at first. However over time if you purchase a rotary, you will find a tight community that is ready to help, you will learn a lot more about the car, feel more connected with your car, and finally be able to give back to new members of the community. The whole process of learning is supposed to be fun, but of course the 7 is also fun too.
I don't own a 7, but I would if I could. I just thought I would share my personal thoughts on the matter because I felt the same way as you before setting my mind on a rotary powered car. I have had several problems already, but I see it as all part of the experience and worth it.
Mike.
