New member from England...
Well, actually, I joined back in 2008 when I bought my FD, but I'm only just getting around to introducing myself! Lazy or what!!
My name is Macer, and I live in Shropshire in the UK. As I've already said, I bought my FD back in late 2008 after what seemed like an eternity saving money and looking for the ideal car. I'd already missed out on a stunning blue FEED kitted FD when this popped up on Newera Imports website:
Newera Imports - home / stock / carDetails
I wasn't going to miss out this time so I fired off a quick email to Miguel at Newera. A couple of emails later and the deal was done I'd bought my previous car through Miguel (a 1998 Supra VVTi TT) so I knew I was in good hands. I'd also had contact with the current owner at the time, Russ Gander, and had been following the cars build on his blog. Russ is a total rotary fanatic and I know he pored his heart and soul into this one (along with a good chunk of cash!). I'm pretty sure he's a member on here so some of you may already know him. For anyone interested the build blog is here: RE-Xtreme II
I felt I was pretty lucky getting hold of this car - tastefully modified with quality components, and I knew it had been well maintained. Waiting for it to arrive from Japan was torture though!!!
Even though I'd blow all my budget on the FD, and a well modified one at that, there was one thing I just had to change before the car arrived... the seats!! I'd always wanted a set of Bride's when I had the Supra, and I know it was the next ting on Russ' list if he'd kept hold of the car. So I ordered a new set of Bride Stradia's from Miguel, and he kindly fitted them before the car was shipped.
Few pics below (probably duplicates of those in the links above!)...

Well Macer, thanks for remembering the old place and the old screen name! We're glad to welcome you back and I'd like to also thank you for not creating a new account, so here's some posts to set up.....but errr....there's no pics.

Also, before Russ sent the Rex on its way, the car was immortalised by Dino from Speedhunters, and was also featured in HPI magazine in Australia.
Full Speedhunters feature is here - CAR FEATURE>> REEXTREME VER II - Speedhunters
And some more pics below
