I love mid 90s Japanese sports cars.. along with my two FDs, I've got a 1996 300ZX TT and a 1997 Supra TT. I haven't found any RX7 clubs in the greater Chicagoland area if anybody knows of any please let me know.... It would be fun to get together and bounce ideas off some other owners as well as finding out if anybody has suggestions where to get good service since Mazda is no longer a good choice.
Here's some pics of the '95 and the '02 if anybody's interested... thanks.
----------------------
'95 RX-7 PEP Black/black leather
'02 RX-7 Spirit R GMG/Red Recaros
'96 300ZX TT Black/black leather
'97 Supra TT Silver/black leather
'01 S2000 Silver/black leather
'13 Z06 convertible Black/black leather
'57 Thunderbird GMG/red leather (being restored.. 75% completed)
'08 M45 Silver/black leather (daily driver)

Beautiful car none-the-less.
for anyone who hasn't driven a RHD, it's a pretty neat feeling. Very exotic. Left hand turns require additional time and care, but otherwise it's not difficult to 'adapt to'.
I can imagine driving the Spirit R is even more exotic feeling. Best of the best!

Wow, you've got quite the car collection! That Spirit R is one great looking car. With so many great options, I'm wondering how you choose which one to drive on the weekends. ;P

Thanks for all the kind words... three-car garage just doesn't cut it.... they go into storage between Nov1 and Mar1.. and it's a constant battle with the birds... just missing an NSX now, but the TBird restoration is sucking up the cash right now..
This website has some very helpful people so far.. thanks to those who have helped with my questions.
Here's the other cars if anyone is interested..
