Hi, my name is Claire, and I am a long time rotary fan, always wanted an RX7, and got someone to trade theirs for my (slow!) automatic 92 Civic sedan about a year ago. Now the 81 Base is my baby, and sadly it sits in the driveway due to a blown seal, so i finally decided to be a member here! I will be rebuilding the 12a myself, is there anything specific i should watch out for, i dont have much experience with the insides of a rotary engine and there are no rotorheads around where i live that i could ask for tips.

Thanks! I did look there, and thats where i'm getting my rebuild kit from. I was also going to pick up some other stuff like new alt/water pump pulleys, since i deleted the air pump, and a new radiator, the original was pretty nasty. I was getting those from Rotary Performance though, hopefully theyll be good quality.
