New member from California

Hey guys, my name is Rondie Latham Jr. I'm an 18 year old who lives in Granada Hills, CA. I'm also a CSUN (Cali State Univ Northridge) student and just bought a '82 rx-7 gs. This car would be my second car, my first was a '95 Miata that i had for about three months before I had to part with it. I am decently familiar with the Mazda brand because that's all I owned. I do know the basics about the rotary engine and basic history about Mazda and its rotary engine, but probably would need help from you guys and the forum about technical issues that are bound to pop up. I'm extremely excited about this car, and am looking forward to becoming an active member of this forum!

Nice to meet you,
RonDori

Thanks and my pleasure! Man, I just love this series from Mazda! I like the whole RX-7 family and to own at least one of any one of them was a small dream of mine. More of a great interest than a great deal, although I did get it for a decently good deal haha. Yeah I would love to see the 1stgen get more popular also!

Well, not too popular just yet. Finding good, straight solid rolling chassis is still not too expensive and I need it to stay that way just a wee bit longer.

I know how it goes, I'm pretty isolated from members as well.
