Hi, my name is Randy. I'm from Wisconsin. 52 years young. And starting a project 1982 Mazda RX7. As of now, it runs great, but new to the rotory engine. All help will be appreciated in future. Thanks, Randy.
The early rotary motors are relatively easy to work on and if you are interested in rebuilding them there are a number of potential performance improvements.
If you are not already familar with it I would suggest you find/read Jim Downings book on How to Modify your Rx7. This book discussed porting, other mods and the rotary motor rebuilding process. This and some other excellent references are are posted on the web at: http://foxed.ca/foxed/index.php?page=rx7manual#other
