New Member 1987 RX 7 TII

Hello, my name is John
I have 1987 RX 7 TII (stock) that I have owned since 1997. I joined because it is time to pass her on to someone with a passion for the RX 7. Retired & getting too old for her.

Welcome to the forum!! The car appears to be in excellent condition! Did you buybit from a dealership in 97 or a private owner?

I bought her from a friend of mine that I used to fly with in the USAF when he defected over to the Corvette. Sent him a picture of it yesterday (known him since 1990 when we flew over to Saudi together). If I remember the story correctly, he bought it a few years earlier from another pilot in his squadron at the time.

I've known of quite a few of these that were purchased by pilots when new. Must have been very popular amongst the aviation group in the late 80's!

I knew of a few folks, to include one who wrecked his buddies in the Black Hills--they are still great friends to this day
