New Member 1985 rx7 GSL
Hey guys, so I'm Mark Young (The most boring name ever) and I finally got an rx7 2 or so months ago after wanting one for quite some time. I live in mid Michigan. (Let me tell you, finding a 26 year old car is Michigan without dibilitating rust was damn near impossible! But I did.
) Anyways. . . that's enough about me.
Sadly the car seems not to really be a GSL, More like a GS with a few tweeks and a badge switch. I guess the previous owner was planning to convert it but never got around to it? Anyways, that doesn't bother me, I still love it! I'm kinda poor so I do use it as my daily driver. (Please don't hurt me!) Even though I'm new to the car I'm no smuck when it comes to repairs. I basically do it all myself unless it requires tools I don't have. (In which case I call a friend who does and do it myself anyways) I suck at electrical though. I do not understand it at all.
Luckily that all works peachy keen.
Am I saying too much? I think I'm saying too much. So thanks for reading! See you around! (soon as my post count gets high enough that is)

Hi Mark, Welcome to RX-7CLUB.
Nice intro there. Lots of 1G guys daily drive theres. I DD my GSL-SE for 4 years. Now it just sits all sad like during the winter months.
85 was a good year for these cars.
Glad you found one in descent shape.
