Hello,

Just bought my second RX-7 FD. My first was a black 1993 RX-7 R1. Was about 20 or so years ago.
I have now bought a red 1994 RX-7 R2. from a fellow forum member, not sure on his forum name. I am sure he will recognize his car though
Initially thought about putting some 99 Spec front, rear tail lights and spoiler. But now that it is home, it is going to stay how it is! Love everything about this car!
Will get some more pics up this weekend.

Welcome! Neat to have another red R1/R2 in town. We will have to meet up at some point.

So here are a few more pictures. The lighting wasn't the best on the inside of the car pictures. I will try and get better ones this weekend. I have had one triangle piece on the inside of the car (just on the inside of where the mirror is) get a crack in it. I ordered a replacement from Mazda along with a few other interior pieces I felt where not up to snuff. Some of them where not in stock, so may be waiting a little bit for them to come in. i have also never worked on the interior of a car, so it will be interested when I get these pieces in!
I am really looking forward to meeting some of the other FD RX-7s in the area to see what they have done to their FD's as well!

Welcome to the forum!! That's a beautiful FD!! I like that you're keeping it mostly original! These cars are timeless in my opinion.
