Just made an account, so I thought I'd introduce myself.
Long time forum lurker, I've always loved RX7's but never owned one. I work as a Controls Engineer at a company here in Chico as well as lecture nights at Chico State.


While I have never owned an RX7, I have been in the Mazda family for while. I own a 1990 Miata that I take to my local track (Thunderhill in Willows, CA) as often as I can.



Grandma comes to the track days sometimes too...



I really do love this thing... (ignore the dork on the right)





I am a huge advocate of do-it-yourself work. I have just as much fun working on my cars as I do driving them. Here is the Miata after the APR wing was installed.



The wing was purchased off Craigslist for cheap but had mounting tor an Evo. I whipped up some new brackets and wing stands and made it work for the Miata!

I also have fun with composites!


I have been working on making myself another set of APR Mirrors for the FRS



Should be able to perfect the process soon enough.

That brings me to my other vehicle. My first Big Boy job car. 2015 Scion FRS. I even paid extra for the boring white paint! First thing I did was devalue it by ripping off the Scion badges and throwing on Toyota badges (Hella JDM yo!)







Anyway, that's my story.
Looking to eventually get into an RX7, but I'm waiting for the right one!
