New to me Montego Blue FD

Hello, been a lurker on here for a while. After a long search, finally came across an FD that looked to be in great shape. It’s a 94 with extensive work done to it, I think it may have belonged to @kensin at one point (couldn’t msg directly to confirm) judging by his build thread.

Anyways, flew to Sacramento a couple of weeks ago to finalize the deal and had it shipped back to Houston. Have had a blast driving it so far. Hoping to keep learning more about this platform as I have zero experience with rotaries.

congrats. That was indeed my FD that I have built and sold to the gentleman in Sacramento. Look like he took the seats and wheels. What a shame lol

Just ran into the build thread today and after seeing the seats, wish he would have kept them in, lol. I’m guessing he had sold them. He did replace with OEM passenger and red pole position driver seat.

Can’t find the seats you had on anywhere. Maybe some day I’ll run into a set. Will just enjoy as is in the mean time.

You did a great job on the build, runs strong. Just need to figure out how to get the ac blowing colder for the Texas summer, lol.

How did I miss this, would love to see the car, you should bring it out to a local Cars & Coffee here in Houston if you can.

Haven't been able to make it to a Cars & Coffee since the Saturdays since I've got it have been reserved for my son's soccer games. Going to miss the one this weekend as well, but have prior engagement. Will definitely try and make it out the next one in July or maybe any other meets that go on. Do you know if there's a sevens day planned in Houston?
