i actually dont have an rx7 or any mazda as of right now.

i just got into an accident where the other driver flew across 4 lanes and hit me head on (yes, im ok..the 3rd car that was hit was not so good, broken arm..hand only held on with 1 vain [or so i was told])

it was a 2011 Subaru WRX STi that i just bought on april 30th.. so ive owned it for 3 months, 2 days.
in feburary, i had a 2007 wrx and someone (hit and run) ran me off the road and it was also totaled. Ive had that car for 4 years and it was good to me.

Ive decided to move away from the subaru scene and start anew with one of my dream car (maybe itll cure me of the bad luck)

Coming from a Subaru, i know absolutely nothing about mazda or rx7. (Besides the fact that Ive always wanted one)

I figured the best way to learn about rx7 is to join the forum and soak up as much knowledge as i can from people who do own them.

I have not yet decided to get an rx7, but it...as of right now... my top choice (plus a daily, but that doesnt really matter)

I am hoping to gather enough information to see if the car is right for me.

I have owned both a wrx and a rx7, and a modified rx7 requires lots of love and maintenace. If you are looking for a fast daily dirver the s2000 might be a better choice. You might also want to look at the crash rating for your next vehicle.
