New and looking for threads
Hey, I'm Mauriece and just did a straight trade for and 88 vert. first rotary! the audio was thrashed and i just cleaned it up, now waiting for speakers. the security was messed up too, taking care of it now. i'm looking for threads with quick tricks like the water trick to steam out carbon or the coke cans in the diff. anyone know of anything else?

ok, Maurice, the first thing you have to learn is that some of the old skool mechanic tricks from back in the day must not be done to a rotary engine, it's a whole different beast altogether. You def need to head to the regular tech section to do some reading on how to get an older engine started again if it hasn't been running in a while....and the process of doing that will reveal the tricks that rotary guru's use to start and keep rotary engines alive that you won't find in any magazine or any Mazda literature. Stuff for piston engines isn't always a good deal for the rotary.
