New to just about everything that has to do with Rx7's

Hi my names Curtis, last name is my username. I've never owned a RWD car, rotary or Mazda. I am buying an 87 Rx7 GXL, with 76,000 miles I think. All stock, only bad thing is a scratch on the driver side door and faded paint but its old so I expect that. I will post pics, once I pick it up in 3 days.

Welcome,

That is some seriously low mileage. Good luck with the car. Spend some time reading the FAQ threads to learn more about the car, maintenance and mods.

Thanks, I know, you should see what the engine bay looks like. The plastic shines like new. I will definitely do some reading

Congrats on your RX-7. With a car with type of milage, I would maintain it well and keep it oem that way it stays running. Looking forward to some pics.

The engine will stay OEM, but suspension and wheels will not. Should have the car tomorrow or Monday

Talking

Congrats from one newbie to another. Just picked up my 87 GXL last weekend. Now i got to get it running smooth (rough idle, possible torqe converter problem), then its time to start upgrading suspension and swap a 5 speed in.

Finally some pictures, I took em awhile ago but went camping this weekend and have been work a lot.
It has a flat tire now, so once I get that fixed. I will wash it and have a decent photo shoot with some ok pictures

The pics suck, I don't have a point and shoot and just hurryed these with a DSLR.

OEM as ****

The scratch
