88 REW

I first signed up to this site years ago when I started my first RX7 project, a 1988 which I installed a Cosmo 13B-REW into. Unfortunately, I still haven’t completed that project, due to an overwhelming amount of rust… it just never ended…. However recently I found a project that just screamed to me. A 1988 JDM convertible with 26,000 original KM’s. This car was imported from Japan, and the first owner apparently drove it without an air filter killing the turbo's… The second owner was going to restore it but a fully restored version became available, so he traded it. This car was an accidental find for me, and has been sitting waiting for some attention. As you can see someone replaced the engine and started some work but for some reason just stopped and left it. Unfortunately, they have done some modifications, and disconnected wires, so I will have to figure out what goes where, and what the hell this wire is…. I will be relying on the help of the community for the many mysteries ahead. So thank you in advanced.
