I'm trying to decide between a 79' RX7 and an 85' GSL-SE. I'm reading all I can about the differences in the two. It seems like the '85 would be a more reliable choice, but I just love the back end of the earlier years.

The first RX-7 I owned was a 79' and I sort of have a strong attachment to the original style tail lights. But, the 85' has the newer engine and better amenities. So I've been casually browsing classifieds waiting for something to pop up.

Right now, there is a local 85' for sale. Price is reasonable but it has ~180K miles and a maroon interior, which is my least favorite. So. I'm not sure if I want both of those things in one car.
I've also owned an 82' and an '89(?) Turbo2.

Anyway, I guess I'll be more interesting once I actually buy a car.
