Well you want a story?
So there i was just joined the coast guard back in 01 and had reported to my first unit in the beginning of 2002, looking through the classifides in San Diego CA. saw a 1991 turbo rx-7 115k miles leather fully loaded for 2100, remembered back to my firends early 80's gen 1 and gave the guy a call. test drove it and setup a payment plan then proceded to fall through on my end. Biggest mistake i could have done.
Fast forward 3-4 years ran arcoss a 84 gsl automatic, that wouldnt start bought it for 500ish? replaced the battery and low and behold she runs! about 10 months later someone without insuranse runs a stop sign-crunch. well i always carry uninsured motorist so i ended up in the positive. fly to a city 5 hours away and end up with a 84 gsl-se, had it for 2-3 years before i sold it and got a speed 3(dont crusify me).
Now i have a sun roof for a 1st gen for the last 3 years(held onto it so i would have it for my next one that is looking further down the line) and the wife says it need to go which is why im here....
Anyone interested ill be posting in classifieds as soon as i have the 10 posts nessary to post.
