New Guy from TX

Sup guys the name is Barry. I do not have an RX7 but have been a fan of them for a long time (1st gen to 3rd i love them all). My last car was an 84 300zx Turbo but had to sale because of college reasons. I have recently had the chance to drive a friends fc and since then have fell in love. I am fasinated how these small motors can produce such power and have decided that an RX7 will be my next project car.

I am saving up for one now but my plan is to know the 12a or 13b inside and out before I get the car. I will be getting a 13b for learning purposes. I want to be able to rebuild a 13b without hesitation.

So if you guys know of any good reads or have any info for a future rotart enthusiast it would be greatly appriciated!

You learn how to rebuild a 13B rotary w/o hesitation and get it to live under boost and you've got a promising career in the Metroplex! Rebuild a 12A rotary w/o hesitation and you've got a monopoly. None of the big names in this area will touch them now and that includes Rotary Performance in Garland.

Welcome aboard, Barry!

Thanks for the welcome! 12As are that bad huh lol. I plan on just dealing with the N\A for awhile before I even think about a turbo rotary. I had no problems with my turbo Z but have a feeling a Turbo rotary motor is a different animal.

My company will be sending me to college next year at corpus christi A & M. So if I do get an RX7 before than I want to make sure I can take care and even rebuild the motor if need be. Will be working less so paying someone else to is a no go!
