New guy from Texas
Hey guys, names Kenny, I've been stationed here in Texas for just about 8 years now with the AirForce, I'm originally from Florida.
Since i sold my '98 Firebird Formula last year i had been looking for a new project, a couple months ago i was on craigslist and i found a free '88 n/a Rx7 rolling chassis. The car didn't have a title, and it has a few dings in it and some really poor bondo work but you can't beat free.
My plans are to drop in a 6.0L iron block LQ4/9 out of a Chevy 2500HD truck, going to a T-56 trans out of a 4th gen F-Body, then doing a solid 8.8 rear end swap also. I'm shooting for 450-500whp on motor then adding a 125-150 shot on top of that, it's basically going to be a street/strip car. So far about all i've been able to get done is tear out the interior getting it ready for a cage and custom sheetmetal dash, gotta get some more things paid off before the wife will let me spend any money on it....

Sounds like an ambitious project! Best of luck to you my friend. Do what you can to get that engine as far behind the front axle as you can if you want to keep your balance.
