if its the same year it can be done on your own, i made the mistake with my first rx7 of trying to put an s4 motor in the s5, i did everything myself but when i went to plug in the ecu and fire my beautiful car up the plugs wouldnt fit... i messed with it for weeks trying to get it started but no luck... just give it a go, learn how it comes apart and dont lose anything keep us posted ill check back to see your progress and help with what i can, good luck

Welcome Larry. There is a guy down in Rouge Valley that has a lot of experience with RX-7's and rotary Engines. His name is ROB. Unfortunately, I do not have any other info for ya. Maybe ask around, or throw an ad up on CL and see what happens.
Good luck with your new project.
-Robert.
