Hey guys, just poking around a bit to get started. I'm looking to buy a late fc s4 n/a that I can build into an awesome all around track car. Primary focus would be for the road course, but I can see a possible ls1/2 swap in the future as well. That's a BIG maybe, though.

I currently have a 2006 GTO that I road course now, but as I get better at driving, I get more and more worried that I'll push it a bit too far through that next apex... or catch it too late/early and just throw myself into an unforgiving spin.

Nevertheless, any quick and basic advice for the new local noob?

2. Search "build" or "building" in the racing forum and read almost every other thread there too.
3. Don't build a car if you can help it, typically takes years and 4-5x the money!
