New guy from the land of corn.
Greetings everyone, my name is Mark. I recently just purchased a 1986 GXL from a friend of mine. Here is his official build thread.

To make a long story short, this is an S4 chassis with an S5 non-turbo engine.
When I bought the car it did not run, he said it should only need coolant lines hooked up and a battery, maybe a few other things. Well it definitely needed a few other things, new fuel pump, new fuel injectors, and a new alternator. With that being said, THE CAR NOW RUNS! Kinda. She starts and is a little rough but I am slowly smoothing her out. Hoping to get her on the road before winter. I don't have very many good pictures of the car, but my friend has several in his build thread. Looking forward to sharing and acquiring knowledge from all of you.
