New Guy in Detroit

Greetings from Brad in the Motor City, where any rice-burner no matter how cool is an affront to the local gentry. New to this site, but bought my GSL-SE in 1984 upon finishing grad school because it was exotic and rare in this market, and have kept it all these years. Drove it for about 2 years before winter conditions made it impractical, then relegated it to summer-only duty. Have had 10 vehicles of one kind or another over the years, but kept my RX-7 in storage; the longest time in the cooler was 5 years and it needed some work to become drivable after that. It is immaculate inside, and VERY clean outside with only a stone chip or two. My wife is agitating for me to sell it, but every time I get it out I get the bug all over again, and now at 26 years old it is a classic and qualifies as a "historic vehicle." I love the reactions I get driving it around SE Michigan; many folks have never seen one and it looks like something from another planet to them. Anyway, glad to have discovered this site and look forward to reviewing the forums. Will post some photos sometime.
