New guy from Canadia
Hey all,
My name is Sean, I just picked up my first mazda, first rotary, and first n/a car in the last four years with the exception of a n/a 2.5rs subaru.
I have been into cars my whole life and always saw myself buying an rx7 (mainly an fd). Recently I was given the opportunity to pick up a not running (flooded) 86 gxl, $600.00 later and I was the proud owner of a rust free (with the exception of a dime sized hole on the rear fender) fc.
I pushed the car onto my trailer with the help of a friend and we were off, new spark plugs and some atf were picked up on the way home and in the pouring rain I got er started!
I have been reading up on lq4 + t56 swaps and had a lq4 ready to go in. Recently I decided I would miss boost and the sound of a beastly lawnmower powering my car, so I am purchasing a s5 tII complete swap with the rear end and putting it into the car within the next couple weeks (will leave that for the build thread). Ill leave it there for now.
I look forward to reading more on these fantastic motors and meeting some of you.
Regards,
-Sean
