Hey everyone, my names Bryan and I just recently picked up my first RX-7. For an '85 it seemed to be in pretty good shape especially in Michigan so I'm really looking forward to putting some time into it. Cant honestly say I'm any good with cars so I'll probably be scouring these forums for any information I can get my hands on so I figured I might as well introduce myself.

Thanks. Yeah the body is in pretty good shape, 1-2 mild dents and a few really tiny rust spots but its almost 30 years old so still really good. The interior is pretty bleh though and someone who owned it before me had problems with the fuel tank so removed it and rigged some kind of air tank in the trunk....dunno what they were thinking.... -_-

Edit: Added a few more pictures. The blue in the interior looks okay in the picture but was done really badly and looks like crap up close. Also alot of broken stuff, like the bins behind the seats, center console etc. Pretty old car though so I guess I cant really expect much better. Got it all pretty cheap for around $800 so cant complain

Welcome! I too am new. That's an awesome looking ride you got there. How much did it cost you?

 

Cost me $800 and it runs pretty good just needed a new starter.
