New GSL-SE owner in SoCal.
Name's Andy AKA AK from Southern CA (near Pasadena) - new to the forum, but not to RX7's. My first one was an 84 GSL that I bought back in 1988 - had a Racing Beat Dellorto and Road Race headers going into a custom dual exhaust system.
I ended up junking it after I got into a wreck , then was not interested in cars until I got an Audi A3 4 years ago, which I ended up swapping for a heavily modified (both cosmetic/performance) A4 Avant, which is my current daily driver.
A few days ago, I became the lucky owner of a brilliant red 85 GSL-SE with 109K miles.
Since I've been out of the rotary scene for quite some time, I'm looking forward to thoroughly going through this forum as I've found the information I've gained so far extremely valuable.
Future mod list (not necessarily in order):
* full exhaust
* Weber carbs
* rims - maybe some Enkei 92s, Epsilons, or HRE 501s
* street port
* tint
* cosmetic repair - bumper paint, dent/ding removal
* etc
Any suggestions/comments you have will be very appreciated as I'm practically a newbie again when it comes to RX7s and rotaries in general.
Finally, I'm very much looking forward to the local get-togethers/cruises so I can check out everyone's cars and meet some of you in person. I'll be planning on going to the Japanese Classic Car Show next weekend (without my RX7 ), and after I pickup my car in a couple weeks, I'm planning on going to Sevenstock as well.

Why are you looking to go with the Weber carbs? If the EFI setup isn't giving you trouble, it's worth keeping or perhaps selling whole. S4 Turbo cars love those injectors as high-flow secondaries.
Good to see you here.
