Whats up guys? Originally from Dalton, Ga, but stationed at Fort Hood, TX currently in Afghanistan with the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade. I do not currently own a rx7, but i'm in the process of selling my '01 WS6 to get one. Ya'll will hate me but i'm looking at a 95 PEP MB with a LS2 in it that i plan on getting as soon as my WS6 sells. Just joining to read more on these cars and try to learn something.

 

Im in Austin, Tx so what did you think about Texas while you where down here?

 

I love texas. Its warm, anf 2 hour drive either direction from fort hood theres plenty to do. San Antonio or Dallas.

Just got back from Iraq a few months ago. How's Afghanistan? I think I might be heading over there next spring to maybe Kandahar.

 

it sucks depending on where you go lol. I've been to several fobs and majority of them have been shitty. They call them fobs but theyre more along the lines of a camp. Marmal up in Mazar e Sharif was nice, never been to kandahar. I'm on sharana right now. Its shitty. No hot water, some times no water at all toehr than bottled. Maybe by the time you come out here next year they will have done some nice stuff to afghanistan like we did to iraq.

 

oh god yeah, i cant wait to be able to shower whenever i want instead of revolving my entire day around the best time to get "warm" water.

 

haha where you at dream? it definitely would be nice to be able to go get food anytime i want, shower when i want, work out on a normal schedule, and be able to drive my new rx7 that my wife has been toying in and rubbing it in my face. She was racing cars on the way home from going to pick it up lol.

 

im in fort stewart and im also on the hunt for an rx7. im actually quite surprised on how many rx7s there are here.
