New found fc
Hi my name is Nathan i live in CA. I recently convinced my girlfriend's brother to get his rx7 second gen over to my house. It has been sitting for a year and about 6-7 months due to the transmission taking a turn for the worse. I just turned 21 and don't have a car, so if i fix his i can use it and hopefully he will let go of it!!! Awesomely i was able to drain the gas tank and put a new battery on and it fired right up!!! We were worried the engine wouldn't have compression but it runs fine and we drove it over to my house around the corner. My plans are to repaint it, replace old lines and swap out fuel injector lines the current ones are not street legal. 
Then rebuild transmission, clean gas tank of crude, get new bumpers etc... We have a turbo II fc we gutted with shell and the parts are in a big pile. Engine blew and seals embedded in engine. I hope to take fenders, hood, lights and convert the review mirrors because they are awesome and i want them on the n/a. 
He has added sway bars,5 point adj. suspension, strut bars, 3rd gen lights which work but are starting to part need new ones and a bunch of other racing stuff i cant remember but it does have turbo II seats in it I'm really into rally and cars i took auto mechanics in high school but that was years ago but I don't really know to much about cars but i watch drift videos all the time; so i hope to learn a lot and get my own car going My dream car is in my possession so to speak now and I'm super excited so you'll probably see lots of me trying to do stuff and asking questions.

It Lives!!!!
Great news guys and girls i have successfully brought it back to life and she passed smog so beautifully and the numbers are well below California's average numbers !!!!! Another rx7 out roaming the streets. she runs like a champ, turns like a hair trigger and takes off like a bat out of hell. I Have removed power steering, the ac and added all the air duct for cooling in bumper just fine and put on the aluminum turbo II hood. she looks gorgeous with the series 5 front bumper and rear taillights. will post pics soon. My favorite thing to do is just cruise past people playing techno and skrillex as i get a massage from the 12 inch kicker in the back.
