NJ New to this forum

Hello rx7club users,

My name is Josh. Let me start by stating I have read the forum rules and guidelines and intend to follow them. I do not own a rotary, but would love to own and learn more about them. So, I've decided to come here to hopefully learn a wealth of knowledge about the rotaries and the concept I find so amazing. I have a few friends that work on cars. I try to watch and learn as much as I can from them, as I have only recently had the opportunity and time to learn more about cars. Unfortunately these friends do not share my enthusiasm when it comes to rotary engines and would much rather talk about American muscle. I have nothing against any type of car (except maybe hondas, but most of that is just kidding around with a buddy of mine). I currently drive a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. Its a decent car for what it was meant to do. I've had it for almost 3 years and it is my 3rd car since my license. I can certainly say I'm tired of the FWD platform and would like to get a feel for something new. I didn't even know about rotaries until Initial D and will admit that that is what set me on my path to learning more about them. I also recognize this is the real world and not Initial D and have no desire to ask stupid questions that might relate to such fantasy. I'm considering getting an FC if or when my sentra does go to maybe start learning some more. One day I would like to own an FD series but when I have some more money available as I've heard they require a lot of knowledge and maintenance. Thank you for taking the time to read my lengthy introduction. I'm excited to be here.
