Hi guys !

I have had my 87 GXL for a couple years now and have been lurking here on the forum for about the same time. I have been working on it trying to get it ready for some local autocross events and have had a huge amount of help from this board. This is the second RX-7 I have had - the first being a 88 Turbo II that was totaled by someone that ran a red light on me several years ago. I ended up with the GXL that I picked up from a woman at work. It had been sitting for a long time with a bad transmission so I got it for a good price. Swapped in a new tranny and have been gradually upgrading suspension since then. I love this car. Problem is that I now have a great chance to pick up an FD and might have to let my FC go. I'll post up a couple questions about the FD in the newbie tech section. Attached is a pic of my FC - did I say I love this car?

NY

Just wanted to add that I live in Central New York - pretty close to Syracuse. Really getting close to the very cold and snow season here so I will have to put the car up in a month or so. That might be a problem since I will need to have a place for the FD if I can close the deal on it. My FC is basically stock except it now has the TII diff and Tein Flex coil overs installed. Before the FD thing came up I was actively working on finding a good TII engine to swap in over the winter.

I am not 100% happy with the silver - looks pretty bland - but I could always paint it when the time comes. For now, the paint is pretty decent.
