New to Forum. 83 RX7 LE
Beautiful limited edition you have, this forum is a great place to get all kinds of information on your car. How many miles are on your 83? It looks very nice. Also like the color of your old car, the same color as my dad's first rx7, Havana Brown.
The LE has less than 40k miles. It needed work mostly due to sitting for so long. I had the carburetor rebuilt and getting new suspension. My mechanic is putting in Racing Beat suspension which should lower the car about an inch. Not sure how the 1 drop will look but it ought to make it fun in the canyons.
I had the brown one in the mid 1980s. Drove it cross country many times. A lot of great memories in that one, and a lot of speeding tickets as well.
Im only handy enough to do the basic maintenance items. Im sure Ill learn more as time permits. Looking forward to learning from the group!

Tire Recommendations
Just added: New RacingBeat suspension with 1 drop and sturdier sway bars. Suspension is now too good for the tires (which are just too old and dried out.). Since shes a sunny-day-only-canyon-blaster driver, Im thinking the obvious tire choice is Falken Azenis RT615K. Note that stock wheels are 195 60 r14. Thoughts?
