Hi, I'm new to this site as well as to owning an Rx-7. I bought my Rx from a guy in Clearwater Fl with 50,450 miles on her. It has quite a few mods done to the car, mainly upgrades as things im sure deteriorated. Its lowered with GaB struts and springs, in intercooler from Petit, K&N air intakes, exhaust, blow off valve, it has an adjustable turbo boost, turbo boost gauge as well as an exhaust temp gauge in the glove box. The car drives great, what a rocket, when the second turbo kicks in even at 10 psi everything goes to tunnel vision. Its sick fast. But i have taken it to two different Mazda dealers to have inspections and compression checks done, only to get two different stories one saying that the compression was in the 8's and the second reporting the compression in the 5's. The second tells me that the engine will stall more and more as the compression get worse. But i do not see any problems with the idle and no problems with stalling. I do not know who to believe or what to do. I think i am going for a third option at Petit soon. What are your thoughts? Please let me know. Thank you very much for your help.
