New Fd rx-7 owner, and second rx-7 I've owned .
How's it going guys? My name is Jacob Torres a 20yr old out of Greenville, SC. I just recently acquired my most awaited treasure , a 1993 fd touring R1. This is my second rx-7. I owned a 1988 Fc rx-7 (my first car) but had to sadly sell it because I was a sophomore in High school and had zero means to afford it. The fd has been my dream ever since. I wasn't very informed on privileges of joining a forum with extraordinary large multitude of knowledge on and of the rx-7. Hopefully I'll get acquainted with other fellow rotary enthusiasts. I am all ears and open to advice for caring for my fd.
I've read nearly every thread on making an fd "reliable." I noticed a trend, the more you put into an rx-7 the more she will give back to you. I have already ordered a few precautionary parts even though my parts were in okay condition, I am just that **** about this car. It's like having a second girlfriend; although, my girlfriend doesn't mind the affair.
Cheers,
Jacob T.

Nice FD. And contrary to populare opinion, reliable = stock (with a few exceptions). Think a lot of people get in trouble making "reliablility" mods and end up with 25 psi boost and a FMIC. And speaking of a FMIC (and aftermarket intake)....
