Hey everyone, I should have posted in this forum a while ago, but I've been crazy busy...anyways, heres my FD




I got it for $5500, but it has some problems. The owner said it didn't run and he "cracked all the apex seals and lost all compression" Well, this is my first rotary experience but I had been reading about them for about 12 hours a day, so I knew something wasn't right. Long story short I did a compression test and some other things and got it running the third day I had it, but it was flooding and wouldn't idle. So I decided to try and do a major overhaul. Thats when I realized reading about rx7's and working on them are two different things. Its a damned complicated engine, at least everything around the engine is.

Other than not running well, its missing the Bose sub, cd player, the trunk carpet, and the clear coat is coming off in some places.

Unfortunately I'm away at college now, about four hours away. I read these forums like I'm addicted so that when I get back to my car, I'll have some more knowledge.
