New FD owner from south Georgia
Names Connor, I Recently picked up a 93 touring with 93k miles. Remarkably clean for its age and mileage, but it does have a few off the usual fd issues. I'm looking forward to tearing through my first rotary top to bottom, and keeping everyone posted throughout the process.

Did you buy this off a guy here at Moody AFB? I know there was a guy with a red one here for a long time. I actually saw your car at Taco bell and across the 23rd LRS building yesterday.
I drive the Montego Blue Fd. I had to put my old DSM rims on it because I had a flat in one of my tires....stupid nail.

Nah I picked mine up from a guy in Atlanta a month or two ago. That other red one is still around on base, I think a cop owns it. He doesn't have a wing on his.
A guy at advance told me about your car literally two hours ago, I don't think I've seen you around though. Are you going to be in town this weekend?

When I was at Taco bell the other day and saw your car....and I had the flat tire...I was like....DAMN...if only I didn't have a flat. 2 Rx7's waiting in the drive thru at Taco Bell....hotness.
I won't be in town this weekend cause I will be heading up to Savannah to hang out with my older bro.
I am still in the process of learning about these cars, but everything seems to be simple compared to my DSM that I have been working on for the past 4 years.
How long have you been at Moody? You haven't seen my car because I just got it like last month. I drove all the way to Memphis to pick it up haha. I also work on the other side of base (ATC Rapcon which is under the Control tower on the other side of the airfield).

Seriously, I was pretty scared of the rotary when I first got the car. Now after reading into it, it's super straight forward. If you ever need help with anything let me know, I've already had to Change my diff bushings and a few other things.
No way, all the way to Memphis!? How did you find it? I've been at moody for a little over two years now I work over in sheet metal. How long have you been out here?

Haha that's funny, it would have been sick to roll through taco bell at the same time! Right on man, I was going to say that you should bring it out to elite's car wash this weekend. I'm pumped to check out your car, another time though.

Yea Memphis....my first choice was a 35k Miles Manual R1 down in Miami, but that turned out to be a bust when I did a carfax and the odometer had been rolled back. It was 58k in 2005 so no telling what it actually is. Plus, he wanted 17k for it and wouldn't come down on the price...even when I told him it was rolled back.
Yea my car is completely bone stock. Just hit 64k Miles. Only downside is that it's an auto, but I didn't get it to extensively mod. I needed another car that I could drive while my DSM was down. It's cleaner than my dsm that's for sure.
It was good seeing your car again on my way out to Savannah. Sorry about all the light flashing....I got excited. A guy that said he knew you stopped by also. Cool dude.
I've been here at Moody for almost 4 years. I have come to terms that this will be my only base in the AF haha.

That's pretty common actually, the odometers in our cars have issues. A lot of times people just change out the cluster instead of getting them repaired. Still him not being straight forward about it's pretty weak.
You have that gst with all of the carbon fiber panels right?
No worries, I honestly couldn't tell what was coming at me until you flashed. Thus the hella delayed reaction. Moody's a black hole for sure!

Yeah I hang out with those guys. I wasn't there, but that's pretty much how everyone I've talked to felt about it. Pretty lame, we're going up to nopi in Atlanta this month. Hopefully that's a little better.

Good luck when you guys go up there to NOPI. What other car do you have? If you're in ELITE and you just got that FD, you should have had another car.
