New FD owner: God Bless this site
Name is Bryan
Live in Northern VA
Just bought a 93 R1, Black on Black, M/T
The car itself for being 20 years old is looking good, the last owner took very good care of it.
But I bought the car Saturday, picked it up in Richmond about an hour and twenty minutes from where I live and drove it home, well almost. I stopped at the gas station before I got home to fill it up and when I went to start it back up nothing. No click, click, click nothing. Needless to say I had to push it myself and pop the clutch, which by the grace of god worked. Got home and parked it and again would not start back up.
Well after hours of looking and testing this and that I found a link to the clutch switch bypass thread. Five minutes latter it started right up.
Thank you RX7 Club.
I have been in the car game for about 16 years now and have owned plenty of awesome cars but this is my first FD. I have been looking for the right car for about 7 years and just never could seem to find the right one.
Found it now and I am glad that I found this site. I think I will become a regular here.
