VA NEW FD owner.

I'm in the learning curve for this rotary stuff. I love that this car is different thats what i strive for my builds clean, thorough, different. I just recently acquired a rolling shell and 13b motor this week. I've built a 521whp s2000, I currently have an E36 M3, JDM conversion integra type r all built by me. I've been modding cars for 10 years. I am 25 years old. ASE certified. Owned my own shop. Im coming from s2ki.com forums to this one. Im anxious to learn as much as i can about the 13B. I acquired this car in pieces and ill need some advice from some guys who can put these cars together with there eyes closed. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I am missing some key pieces. Lower intake manifold and fuel rail injectors, and main engine harness.

Any and all help/information key things i should know or be aware of is appreciated associated with this motor or year vehicle. thanks

Welcome! In the 3rd Gen Section are some great threads for new owners and what to expect. In regards to the parts you need there are a number of reputable sellers of used 3rd gen parts in the For Sale Section of the forum (I'm one of them).

Some typical prices you can expect

Stock LIM = Cheap. Under $60 shipped.
Engine Harness: $100 used. I strongly suggest you spend the $$$ on a new one. Old ones are crispy.
Stock Injectors: Cheap and easy to come by. Do you need the rails also? Probably $50-$80.

So if that is all you are missing, with the exception of a new wiring harness, you aren't looking at much expense.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I am missing those key pieces but right now im in the process of doing a compression test of the motor to see if that's even good before I consider buying parts. Right now all the seals seem to be good no skips in the gauge in any chamber. The only thing is when I release the valve its only coming up to about 33 +/- psi on the guage and holding there not leaking or going up.

I've been hawking the classifieds for local guys that might have some missing stuff. So far so good. Just on a hunt for missing engine harness. So I can get this thing single turbo and on the Dyno.

Thanks. Yeah it is alot easier. You can only do so much on the internet before your head feels like exploding. I've picked up pretty quickly talking to a few people from this site and searching all around rx7club.
