IL New FD owner

My name is Tommy. I'll start by saying i've owned many cars in my day but the FD has always been my favorite... like many of you. I purchased a rolling shell not to long ago and planning a a swap other than a rotary. I'm sure they are great motors and make plenty of power, I just prefer pistons.

You should drive one of each in the rx7 before you decide the rotary is great

Don't do it! Give a rotary a try first, it will amaze you!

I'm in the same boat Tom. I want an FD, but I come from a Chevy background. I'm thinking a nice LS motor in one would be the way to go.

If your daily driving to work then get an LS in the rx7. Other than that enjoy the rotary for around 80,000 miles or so but that is stretching it a bit and depends how you drive and maintain vehicle.
