New FC S4 vert owner from Toronto Canada
How's it going guys?
Allow me to introduce my self. My name is Kyle, I'm from Toronto, 26 years old and am a proud new owner of my first rx7!!!!
I've been lurking around this site for almost a year while I saved my money for my car. About 5 weeks ago I was online and found a deal to good to be true (aren't they all). I managed to find mine for only 1,600 CAD. My initial impression ... Wow, only needs the top repaired, 3 small spots of rust, both rear fenders, and a patch on the front fender. I popped the hood and saw one of the cleanest bays I'd ever seen, no rust, no oil, perfect. Heck, for 1600 I'd be happy with just the shell. So I got her towed to my mechanic from Trinidad who use to build these cars, motors, all kinds of fun swaps.
.... Got her up on the hoist for a safety check, and she passed with flying colors! Prior to me the previous owner had installed a new clutch, alternator and all the belts. I decided to replace, oil pressure switch, water pump, rear main transmission seal, and the seal for the tach, also all new plugs, wires, oil change....... I did the 60k tune up as I read was recommended. So all and all I'm still under 3k. I managed to get an appraisal for $800 too! Well I'll start posting more so I can post some pics! Hello to everyone here and I look forward to learning more and talking to you.
