Hey!My name is Garrett!
I Just picked up an 88 RX7 GXL. Its got quite a few dings and flaws but for 900 it ain't bad. It is gonna take a lot of cleaning and fixing but I'm excited. All advice is welcomed.

More than a few, I only have half of saturday and all of sunday to work on it since i work 6 days a week. Definitely something to keep me busy. This weekend is to tear apart the interior and clean / fix whatever I find wrong.

Best of luck to your FC project Garrett. I can totally see the light at the end of the tunnel with this one. That halo does help a lot......for a lot of us that have similar projects.

Yea I hear ya on that. I've learned my lesson in the past about rushing an installation only to have to do it again. Being this is my 2nd car and a project I have more time to work on it and pace myself.

So I took the seats out and vacuumed the car and used some cheap carpet cleaner on it. Got the carpet ok cleaned but in my defense the carpet is done for and there was like oil or something in the passenger side.
With the seats removed I sat in the car and had a momentary freak out. I realized with the seats out and sitting up I have about 2-3 inches b4 I hit the roof. First question I had is when I get a bucket seat in there will I be sitting with my head in the top? Then I wondered how it will be when I have a helmet on... so im hoping you guys here (and you taller ones who are 6'1 like me) can chime in and offer advice.
