MN New FC owner in MN

Hi.

I just purchased a completely stock white 1988 Rx7 Turbo II. This is my first rx7 so I'm not sure what to expect out of it except to keep it running, keep it stock and maybe replace the carpets or pass it onto someone more capable.

This has been one of those cars I've been wanting as a kid/teen hooked on Initial D. Sadly, I an not as enthusiastic to go out and "attack" the mountain paths as I once was, but there is a possibility that the rx7 may supplant my s2000 as the goto autox car.

Pics of the car from the original ad. Will post updated pictures later or in a future thread when weather permits.

Thanks for the compliments. While the rx7 may require more attention than my other car, s2000, I just love how smooth it turns around a bend.

I've never driven an S2000 myself, how does it compare to the Rx-7? As in feel/power etc

Power wise, I think the s2000 is faster and more responsive, but handling the rx7 is smoother and the steering wheel turns like butter.

I live in Little Canada, near Roseville & Saint Paul.

The rx7 was purchase from Iowa and driven 6+ hours home, so it's in pretty good shape to make such a drive.

Would like to know as well, but if you don't want to share no biggie. I'm looking to buy one myself as well and it would help out.

Either way, great looking ride!
