Hi everyone this is Matt from the UK.

I've just picked up a black 1989 Series 5 Turbo II Cabriolet.

Finally got my hands on an RX7 at last

Car is good so far, a few niggles (clutch master cylinder) but nothing massive yet, plan to restore it over time even if I have to spend a lot on it.

The bodywork is really great considering the age, hardly any rust at all and all the electrics seem to work fine. It's only done about 2000 miles since 2001 so it's probably been stored somewhere?

I'll try and get some pictures soon when I get around to it.

Looking forward to having a project car.

 

nice, ive always wanted a turbo rotary, my NA s5 definately needs more power haha.

Yeah a shame they never done them in the US.

Here's a quick pic, not bad for a 24 year old car.

Taking it over to Hurley Rotary on Wednesday to get a comp test and a few other things checked out.

I'll keep you guys updated when I hear back.

I really do love the car though, I always wanted an FD but i'm just as happy with this, especially if I can get a racing beat full system on it
